So if you've checked out Our Story you've read a little about how Mark and I met. Well I wanted to take a minute and tell you all about the proposal. I knew it was coming and was very confident that it would be the week of spring break. I was so confident that when our youth group went to a conference, my mom brought about 6 cameras and 2 camcorders so she could get it on tape in case it happened there. It did not though and I had to wait a few more days. I spent Easter with Mark and his family, actually meeting his brothers and their families for the first time then. Late Easter night we went to stay with more family in West Virginia. As soon as we arrived at Mark's cousins house, he immediately became withdrawn. I was actually very upset because here I am, on Easter, 6 hours away from my family, and he is acting like a turd. Anyways, the next day we were going to go four wheeling with his cousin and his wife, Shane and Jade. Again, acting like a turd. (He made fun of me for putting on makeup!!!) After riding around for awhile Mark and Shane 'decide' to go to a cliff made up of smaller rocks. As soon as we get there Mark jumps off and heads to the cliff and I am left to jump (literally) over to him. And this is what I see...
Hope you enjoyed the our happy beginning!

March Craft Night
We had yet another successful Craft Night... This month's craft was Flower Pots. We painted, decopauged, and embellished our way into Spring. Our monthly craft nights have become so much more to me than just making something. I look forward to hanging out with an awesome group of ladies/girls, great conversation, and laughing at our 'oops' moments. I love that a 30 minute craft can turn into a 3 hour craft with all the conversations going on. Take a look at some of our latest crafts...
I love you because...
So I totally stole this idea off of Pinterest but I loved it so much and wanted to share...
Using two old picture frames and some scrapbook paper that matches our bedroom I made these 'I love you because...' dry erase boards. We hung them up in our bedroom and use them to leave quick little messages throughout the week. I really didn't think that Mark would get into it... But I think he changes his reasons for me more than I do... We share really sweet and sentimental reasons (see his for me) and corny reasons as well (see mind for him). It really puts a smile on my face when I walk in and see that he has changed it. Total cost = found 2 frames I've had for years, 2 pieces of scrapbook paper $.25 each, and a dry erase marker in a 'teacher pack' given to me at the beginning of the school year.

February Craft Night
With all the 'spring-like' weather we've had I felt like some cute scarfs to accessorize some spring outfits were in need. All scarfs were made from old t-shirts. I found many cute tutorials by searching for 'T-Shirt Scarves' on google. Try it out...
All in all it was another great Craft Night. Michele provided a great devotion on love (for St. Patrick's Day right? :) and Pam and Miss Mary brought some delicious snacks. I can't wait for next month... Did someone say Easter decor? I think so...
